A LONG Night

Well... as sad as it sounds, Blake and I were out to crash our friends' birthday party. Besides being late, he got the wrong tickets, but with his boyish charm he managed to flirt his way into some new tickets, and they were for the same movie: The 7:10 Harry Potter 5. Finding the group in the very top row with exactly two seats left :) and we actually ended up sort of joining the group instead of crashing the party... No one seemed to really like the movie, it was mostly just txting, popcorn throwing, fake laughing, lap sitting, and just a generally good time. Then the movie was concluded with the usual unsatisfying ending that you know they put there becuz there iz a sequel. We said bye to the group, at the time not knowing that we would be seeing them that very night once more.

While my dad THOUGHT he was just taking Blake and me home, what was actually happening is that I was staying at his house to further our intrusion on Bridget's Party.

With amazing timing, Bridget calls us just as we get out of the car, Bridget called and BEGGED us to come and have cake, and how could we say no?

Of course as we came in the ocean of girls were doing nothing except eat, eat, eat, chug two cups of soda at a time, eat, eat and eat. After the end of the food frenzy, they got into their PJs (I wasn't allowed to be in the room when that happened) and then Bridget opened presents. Then it hit me, I was the only person that did not give her something, and unwanting to be the scumbag, I whipped out my wallet and gave her the gift of $8 ( I know, how thoughtful). Then IT happened: BIRTHDAY CAKE! AHHHHHH! Eight girls about to be loaded with MORE sugar!:0! After cake there was a mad dash around the backyard, then inside and we were soon kicked out by Bridget for some reason that is not known to me.

Blake and I were back at his house jumping on his trampoline, talking to ppl at the party, and they were doing stupid stuff, hanging up on us every five seconds (*sigh* *girls*). Boredom overtook and we went inside.

7/13/07 Around 12:10 AM Phillips Homestead
Now in Blake's room, we were once again attempting contact with the girls, with little success . We pathetically watched Disney channel for like 30 minutes then we brought in the big gun: Guitar Hero II. While I was a complete amateur, only having played a few times. Struggling on even the easiest songs, we laughed at my extreme lack of hand-eye coordination. Then I watched Blake do the hardest song almost perfectly, which was hypnotizing because everything goes by so fast. With completely random and very brief calls from the girls, and the guitar hero, we burned through the midnight oil, pulling an all nighter, falling asleep at around 5:45.

Bridget called us and wanted us to come over, but Blake had to go to soccer, so I was driven home, and here I am now drinking my third cup of coffee...
