Tuesday Travels

The first of two miserable days on vacation: DEPARTURE!!!!! We all know this day, the day that you have to get up early to catch that flight to your vacation destination! The day your mom makes your dad get to the airport three hours early, just so you can sit there! The day where you have to eat airport food and DRINK AIRPORT COFFEE! That is my day today... A 2 and a 1/2 hour flight to Denver (not very long, but a flight nonetheless), I personally love traveling, but it can be quite the hassle... Then you arrive at your destination, and you get your luggage, and ride the bus to your ever so far away rental car pick up (this airport doesn't have one of those cool little trams to the rental car places). I was happy that my dad got us a nice car at least, a literally brand new (he checked the miles) Cadillac Escalade, a 70,000 dollar American POS (don't ask, it just means it is a piece of crap basically). Finally we began the final stretch to Breckenridge (A grueling 3 hour drive from Denver). As you can tell, I HATE sitting in a car, and was extremely happy to reach our rental house. It was a 2,600 sq. ft., One car garage, 5 bed 2.5 bath house, that somehow is worth over a million... I guess the location was nice, surrounded by mountains, but it was still really close to other houses, I dont see how a simple location can raise the price of a house by over half a million... (My house is 3,800 sq. ft. and not even half a million, go figure). It doesn't really matter though, it was just a place to crash... (You can look at pics of it at http://www.coloradovakantie.be/
